Not the latest version, but many people will find this version very acceptable. Especially for an extremely low budget smartphone such as the One Touch 990. The new Alcatel phone features a 3.5” display and a 5 megapixel camera. It also has a front camera, which makes the phone useful for doing Android video calling. As is the case with most Android smartphones, the Alcatel One Touch 990 comes with a whole bunch of useful apps pre installed. As stated above, this is a low budget smartphone with which Alcatel is targeting the lower market segment. This phone may not have hardware specifications that make you tremble, but it does look pretty darn good… I’ll give it that! The One Touch 990 has a very stylish looking, curved design. It can also play the usual MP3’s and WMA’s. It also has an FM radio. Under the hood, the One Touch 990 is powered by a single core Qualcomm MSM 7227-1 SOC which is clocked at 600MHz. Furthermore, this phone supports bluetooth and micro USB 2.0. It also has a G-sensor, proximity sensor, E-compass and a light sensor. The battery life varies and heavily depends on what you’re doing with your One Touch 990. Calling time is 6 hours, while music playing time is 10 hours. When left on standby mode, the battery life will be around 550 hours. Its dimensions are 116 x 62.2 x 12.15 millimeters and it weighs 144 grams. It has a side key for volume and a full touch bar.
